Many years ago, Nick and Kathy Evans, fresh out of university and with no clue what to do with their lives, rented an old LSA nursery in Almodington, growing salads for Covent Garden.​

A few years later, they bought a greenhouse and a field in Sidlesham, where they lived in a mobile home with their children, Emily & Archie. For more than 20 years, they farmed fruit as Haygrove Sidlesham @ Keymer Brook Farm growing superb soft fruit for supermarkets and high-end restaurants - even supplying berries that were served at royal garden parties.

Now, with their son Archie managing the farm and  Esther covering the shop & packhouse, Nick< Kathy and the On Tap Team are delighted to offer the same top-quality fruit they offered to the Queen, directly, and almost exclusively, to local customers.
